Tim’s Top Links – 5/20/19

After a lovely week spent in Hilton Head, SC – Top Links is back!  I came across some great articles on vacation and I know you’ll enjoy them as well.

Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:

‘Men Have No Friends’ – Douglas A. Boneparth – Bone Fide Wealth

  • Why is it that men have such a hard time expressing their feelings to other men?  Douglas writes about the benefits that can come if you do.

‘All the Jobs I Didn’t Get’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense

  • Sometimes NOT getting certain jobs can teach you more valuable lessons than if you got it.  Ben talks about his experience searching for the right job out of college.

‘The World is Changing For the Better & Why it Matters to You’ – Ashby Daniels – Retirement Field Guide

  • Through a few telling charts/graphs, Ashby illustrates an important point that the world is constantly changing for the better.

‘My Investing Bible’ – Phil Huber – BPs and Pieces

  • Phil talks about the book that opened his eyes to new ways of thinking about investing and asset allocation/diversification.
