Tim’s Top Links – 4/6/20

A quick moment of silence because today would’ve been the start of The Masters week.  Of course, there are plenty more important things to focus on right now, but if you need an escape for a little: just remember back to how COOL it was watching Tiger Woods win The Masters in 2019.

Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:

‘In Our Bones’ – Casey Mullooly – All Things Are One

  • In his latest post, Casey writes about “betting on the human spirit” and what it really means to feel something “in our bones”.

‘This Time is Different’ – Blair duQuesnay – The Belle Curve

  • “This time is different” is a phrase that we’ve all been hearing about this pandemic, but it’s TRUE! Blair writes about how it’s different and what WON’T change this time around.

‘Is Now the Time to Pick Stocks?’ – Mullooly Asset Podcast

  • In Ep. 301, I talk with Tom and Brendan and address folks who have shown interest in buying individual beaten down stocks and the risks involved.

‘The Shock Cycle’ – Morgan Housel – Collaborative Fund

  • Morgan writes a succinct explanation of how we handle shocking news, both good and bad.  I wonder what stage of the cycle we are in right now.
