Tim’s Top Links – 3/26/20

A definite bummer today to realize that it was supposed to be Opening Day for the MLB.  There will be an Opening Day at some point this year, just not today.

Be sure to listen to Ep. 114 of the podcast today when you get a chance!

Here’s what I’ve been reading this morning:

‘Did Bullard Really Say 30% Unemployment?’ – Tom Mullooly – Jersey Shore Financial Advisor

  • Fed governor Bullard shocked many people with his comments last week, but Tom wrote about why, in full context, his comments make more sense.

‘How Did We Ever Get to the Roaring 20’s?’ – Ben Carlson – A Wealth of Common Sense

  • Everybody has read about the Roaring 20’s and how great they were, but how did we get there? Ben outlines the framework that set up that decade.

‘The Economic Stimulus Bill Explained’ – Ritholtz Wealth Management

  • Josh and Bill do their best to explain the agreed upon stimulus bill.  Who does it help?  When is it coming? What’s the most important part?

‘This is Not 1929 or 2008’ – Mullooly Asset Show

  • In this episode, Tom explains why this market environment is NOT 1929 or 2008 and why there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic.

ENJOY!
